For App Store Review
This page exists to give the App Store Review team a clear, public answer to Guideline 2.1(b). Snuggli is a mental wellness app with a strict two-sided business model: free for every individual user, and B2B enterprise contracts sold offline to institutions. The iOS app itself contains no In-App Purchase, no consumer subscription, and no checkout for individuals.
Free for every individual
No paywall, no trial, no credit card, no IAP. Every wellness feature is free for every signed-in app user.
B2B licenses only
Institutional plans are sold to organizations via signed contracts and offline invoicing. Not consumer purchases.
No In-App Purchase needed
The app contains no checkout, no IAP, no Stripe flow for individuals, and no purchase button.
No consumer SKU
No individual, family, or consumer subscription exists. Institutions purchase enterprise software contracts only.
1. Who are the users that will use the paid features in the app?
Only institutions (universities, high schools, NGOs, employers, churches, youth programs, community-health programs, CSR foundations, and public-health partners). Individual app users — students, young professionals, parents, the general public — do NOT pay. Every wellness feature in the iOS app (Araba conversations, mood tracking, journaling, audio library, guided programs, goals, community, crisis resources, Soft Circle) is free for every signed-in user, with no trial, no paywall, and no credit card.
2. Where can users purchase the features that can be accessed in the app?
Nowhere inside the app. The app contains no checkout, no In-App Purchase, no Stripe / Apple Pay flow, no credit-card field, and no purchase button for individuals. Institutional plans are sold offline through a sales process: an institutional decision-maker visits our marketing pages, submits a "Request a demo" form, speaks with our team, signs a B2B contract, and is invoiced directly. These plans are never offered to individuals, families, or app users.
3. What specific types of previously purchased features can a user access in the app?
None for individual users — nothing has ever been purchased by an individual user. Members of an institution that has signed a B2B contract may enter an 8-character join code to receive institution-sponsored access: this unlocks the same wellness features that are already free for everyone, plus optional institution-branded resources (counseling contacts, custom crisis content, branded support pages). The individual user is not the purchaser and pays nothing.
4. What paid content, subscriptions, or features are unlocked within the app that do not use In-App Purchase?
None for consumers. The app contains zero paid content, zero subscriptions, and zero locked features for individual users. The B2B institutional licenses (Community Basic, Institution Plus, Impact + Frontline) are enterprise software contracts between Snuggli and the institution — Apple's Guideline 3.1.3(b) explicitly permits enterprise services to be sold outside of In-App Purchase. No individual app user is ever asked to pay.
5. Are the enterprise services in your app sold to single users, consumers, or for family use?
No. Enterprise services are sold exclusively to institutions under signed B2B contracts, with institutional billing contacts, organizational seat licenses, and invoiced offline. They are never sold to single users, consumers, families, or family groups. Snuggli has no individual subscription, no family plan, and no consumer SKU.
Snuggli's iOS app has no consumer paid content of any kind and no In-App Purchase is required or applicable. The only paid relationship is between Snuggli and an institutional customer, governed by a B2B contract signed outside of the app and invoiced directly. This falls under Apple's Guideline 3.1.3(b) (enterprise services) and does not require In-App Purchase.
